Green and Gold Cup: A Golf Tournament for a Cause

The event kicked off with the Green and Gold Cup, held on January 8, 2025, at the Hallow Ridge Filipinas Golf and Country Club in San Pedro, Laguna. The tournament saw an unprecedented participation of 101 players, including both alumni and guest players. This remarkable turnout set a new record in our alumni history, reflecting the growing enthusiasm and commitment of our community and supporters. The tournament was not just a competitive sport; it also served a noble cause, supporting the FEU-NRMF MAS, Inc. Medical Assistance Fund. Players and supporters, including generous sponsors, came together to contribute to this vital cause. The green fields echoed with cheers and camaraderie, making it a day to remember.

S.I.L.V.E.R. @50: Symposium on Innovations, Learnings, Visions, Evolutions, and Recent Advancements in Medicine

The next two days were dedicated to a scientific convention themed S.I.L.V.E.R. @50: Symposium on Innovations, Learnings, Visions, Evolutions, and Recent Advancements in Medicine. Held at the FEU-NRMF Medical Center Dr. Ricardo L. Alfonso Hall in Fairview, Quezon City, the convention began with a Eucharistic Thanksgiving Mass celebrated by Fr. Jerry Orbos, SVD setting a solemn and reflective tone for the discussions ahead.

One of the highlights of the convention was the Dean Lauro H. Panganiban Memorial Lecture, titled “The Changing Landscape of Philippine Medical Education” by Dr. Joselito F. Villaruz, Chairman of CHED Technical Panel for Medical Education. Esteemed speakers and experts from various fields shared their knowledge and insights, fostering a rich exchange of ideas and experiences. The symposium highlighted the latest developments in medical science, offering attendees a chance to learn and engage with cutting-edge research. The sessions were both enlightening and inspiring, reinforcing our commitment to continuous learning and growth.

Additionally, alumni were treated to a campus tour conducted by the medical students, allowing them to witness the latest developments and facilities at the institution. The scientific program also included the Student Achievement Awards, recognizing medical students with distinctions in various basic and clinical subjects.

Welcome Banquet: Barrio Fiesta

Following the day one of the scientific convention, alumni gathered for the Welcome Banquet, aptly named Barrio Fiesta, where they were treated to a festive party and delightful dinner. The atmosphere was filled with nostalgia and joy as old friends reconnected and new friendships were forged. The banquet highlighted the warmth and camaraderie that define our alumni community.

Annual Business Meeting

For the first time in our alumni history, an annual business meeting was held to amend the FEU-NRMF MAS, Inc. Constitution and By-laws. This significant milestone reflects our commitment to evolving and improving our organization to better serve our members and community.

Grand Alumni Gala: Celebrating Excellence and Legacy

The grand alumni gala marked the culmination of our event, bringing together alumni from all walks of life to celebrate our shared legacy. The evening began with a Parade of Honorees, a tribute to the different jubilarians.
