Good morning, everyone. I feel incredibly honored to be giving this testimonial and to be standing in front of you all.
49.67%. 1901 out of 3827. One of the most difficult examinations in recent history. We all showed up at the testing sites, walked into that exam room, and made history.
Topping the Physician Licensure Examination has been one of the most humbling and fulfilling experiences of my life. It’s a culmination of years of dedication, sleepless nights, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence. While I am incredibly honored by the outcome, I know that it reflects not just my individual effort, but also the support of my family, seniors, co-interns, my PGH training, friends who kept cheering me on and who were patient enough to listen to me yap, and of course my medical school FEU-NRMF, who’s responsible for raising me and for practically everything I know about medicine.
This achievement is not merely a personal milestone—it’s a testament that consistency is key, and that hard work and faith can move mountains. Medicine is more than a profession; it is a lifelong commitment to service and to learning. The journey to get here was not an easy path. It was like a walk in Jurassic Park. You know, I’m sure that for all of us, there were countless moments of doubt and exhaustion, but whatever it was that kept us going – I’m glad it did because we’re here now, on the other side.
