Dr. Reynaldo Mariano, a respected internist and a distinguished graduate of the Far Eastern University – Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU-NRMF) School of Medicine Batch 1990, has made notable contributions to the medical field and the academic community. His dedication to his profession and commitment to public service have earned him numerous awards and recognitions, highlighting an impactful career.
Dr. Mariano’s academic excellence was evident early in his education. From his foundational years, he was a standout at the Dela Paz Elementary School and the Rizal High School. Both institutions later recognized him as their Most Outstanding Alumni. Furthering his education by enrolling in medicine and graduating as a proud member of the Imprimis Group of the FEU-NRMF Institute of Medicine in 1990, He was also honored as the Most Outstanding Alumnus during their Silver Jubilee in 2015, a prestigious award reflecting his significant influence in the field.
Dr. Mariano has been celebrated throughout his professional career as an excellent Internist, Sonographer and Echocardiographer with an unmatched dedication towards patient care as evidenced by his recognition as the Most Outstanding Physician at World Citi Medical Center for five consecutive years from 2001 to 2005.
This unrivaled dedication extended beyond his clinical responsibilities and translated this into unsurpassed community service where he has been awarded numerous plaques of appreciation for his charitable contributions. These recognitions highlight his passion for helping others and his significant contributions to the well-being of the community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Mariano demonstrated exceptional generosity by preparing food packs for FEU-NRMF front liners as well as various hospitals and establishments, showing his solidarity with those on the front lines.
In addition to his clinical and community work, Dr. Mariano continues to play an instrumental role in the advancement of medical education. He serves as a current member of the FEU-NRMF School of Medicine Curriculum Committee, where he contributes to the development and enhancement of the educational programs necessary in the preparation of our future physicians.
Dr. Mariano’s career is a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence in medicine, dedication to academic advancement, and deep-seated desire to serve his community. His achievements inspire students, colleagues, and all who benefit from his expertise and altruism.
Dr. Mariano is blessed with a loving and supportive family. He is married to Ma. Lourdes Gelanie Mariano with whom he has two daughters, Gabrielle Nicole and Gianna Natalia. Inspired by their parent’s achievements and dedication, both his children are currently pursuing careers in medicine.
